Can't receive my mail
This usually occurs when you have built up an excess of mail in your server's mailbox. There are several solutions for this problem. If you haven't checked your mail in a few days, your box could have an abundance of messages in there. It is also possible that you have one large message (usually has a file attachment) First try receiving all your mail. It seems like this will take forever (over 30 minutes or more) in most cases you can receive everything. Depending on how much mail you have, and your connection speed, will determine the amount of time to receive it. If this doesn't work contact the Internet Helpdesk.

Logon name and password
Your logon name and password for your E-mail is the same as your logon name and password to connect to CKT.NET. It is wise to keep this written down in a safe place. Helpdesk technicians can tell you what your logon name is and provide you with a new password, but do not have access to your original password. If you change the password for your connection to CKT.NET, you must change it for your E-mail account on your computer.

Invalid address error
Double check the address to be sure you are typing it in the correct format. Be sure there are no spaces or capitol letters in places they don't belong. Check to see if the Caps Lock Key on your keyboard is on. If you are sure the E-mail address is still active and the following solutions haven't worked, contact the Internet Helpdesk.

Craw-Kan email away from home
To receive your Craw-Kan email while you are away from your home PC, follow these few simple steps!  First you need a computer with internet access.  For Microsoft Outlook Express: Open up Outlook Express.  Click on tools, and accounts.  Click on add, and mail.  You will be prompted to enter a display name and e-mail address.  Enter this information the same way you would on your home PC.  Click next after successfully entering each piece of info.  Our mail server is a "POP3" server.
    Incoming mail server: mail.ckt.net
    Outgoing mail server: smtp.ckt.net
You will then be prompted to enter your user name and password.  These are the same as what you use to connect with your home PC.  Once you have entered all the preceding information correctly, you will be able to receive your mail!

Over a minute to connect to www.ckt.net
When connecting to ckt.net, a message window "Logging on to Network" appears on your screen for a prolonged amount of time.  To fix this, Go to My Computer, and Dial-Up Networking.  Now right click on the dial up connection for ckt.net, and select Properties.  Under the dial-up properties, click on the Server Types tab.    Look to see if there is a check mark next to "Log on to Network".  If there is a check mark, click on the check mark to remove it.
