Surveying

Survey
AEA uses the most up-to-date surveying equipment.  Typically surveys are completed using a total station or Global Positioning unit.

Stake Out
Once a design is complete, a survey crew will return to the site to electronically stake-out the site.  This ensures congruity between the engineer's design plans and construction.

We provide professional surveying services using the most modern surveying equipment available.  Our services are augmented by use of the latest computer aided drafting facilities.

  • Topographic Site Mapping

  • Computerized Survey Systems

  • GPS-Global Positioning Systems

  • Computerized Design & Drafting

  • Computerized Earthwork Balance

  • Computerized Construction Stake-out

  • Boundary Survey

Topographic surveying (mapping) provides essential information for farmstead planning, lagoon design, dam design, irrigation storage, building planning, earthwork estimating, and stream flow evaluation in conjunction with levee and drainage systems. Using "state of the art" equipment, our surveying crews can quickly obtain information from the field and turn it into an accurate elevation contour map. Other site features can also be accurately located on the map including buildings, utilities, roads, fences, sidewalks, trees, and any other pertinent structures.

Boundary surveys on tracts of land may be done for loan purposes, boundary disputes, mineral leases, land sub-division, title insurance or any other purpose which requires the delineation of existing and/or establishing new property lines. Modern electronic distance measuring equipment assists in checking the many references often involved in reconciling the possible boundary discrepancies that have evolved over the years.
